Season 2019

The 2019 season registration is under way!

 

Online registration for the 2019 is now open. This year, we are aiming to provide the best coaching for all members who sign and ensure that you enjoy your playing experience here at Chelsea FC.

 

The regular season caters for players turning 5 years old in 2019 to players over 35 years of age and beyond.

2019 Fees

Your fees for 2019 to the following:

  • FV team fees
  • FV & FA player fees
  • City of Kingston building Leasing payments
  • City of Kingston ground rentals for Edithvale Recreational Reserve and Edithvale Common
  • Electricity for training lights for Edithvale Recreational Reserve
  • Training Equipment (Balls, cones, poles, nets, bibs)
  • Uniforms:

o Goalkick-U12 will receive matchday top, shorts, socks.

o U13-U16 will receive matchday top, shorts, socks and clash top.

  • Goal keeping coach, Coaching director and FV certification’s for coaches
  • Game Day equipment

o  Nets

o  Small sided goals (3 sizes)

o  poles

o  match balls

  • Referees payments (Juniors & Seniors only, Gold Coin Refs will be running again for sub-juniors)
  • Ground keeper fees (match day set up)
  • Cleaning facilities at Edithvale Recreational Reserve and Edithvale Common
  • Trophies and/or medals for players at the end of the season
  • Activities for Presentation Day
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Facilities 

o Lighting and ground maintenance

Line marker machine and paint

  • Repairs and maintenance
  • A safe and fun environment for your child to play football.
  • Access to Myshop exclusive Chelsea FC merchandise and partner member offers
  • Subsidized hire of social clubrooms for private events. Members $200 – Non Members $350


Fees for 2019:

Goalkick - $180   |   Under 7 - $330   |  Under 8-12  - $440   |   Under 13-18 - $480   |   

Masters Women’s - $150  |  Masters Men - $435   |   Seniors Men - $550

 

Which Team?

During the registration process you will see what age group you need to register with based on year of birth (eg if you are born in the year 2007 you will have to register with the Under 12s).

 

Teams will ONLY be finalised once numbers registered make up enough players to field a team with the FFV. If minimum numbers cannot be reached we will contact all affected players and offer alternative teams to make sure all kids get on the pitch.

 

Sponsorship

The club is always keen to talk to businesses that are keen to sponsor the club be it at a whole club level or part thereof. We have a number of sponsorship packages tailored to various budget levels. It is a great way to promote a business at a grassroots level as well as support your local community. Family Discount

Families with 2 or more registered players will receive a 5% discount across the ENTIRE registration cost (which works out equivalent to previous years partial discounts). Please ensure you register all players at the same time to receive this discount.

 

Refunds

If you decided to leave Chelsea FC or have a season ending injury, the following are the conditions for the Club granting a refund:

From the start of the season to end of May, any player who withdraws as a result of injury or wants to leave Chelsea FC will need to make application in writing to the committee requesting a refund. This application must include doctor’s certificates to support the request for refund. Where your refund request is granted, the Committee will authorize a 30% refund based on the registration fee only (excluding uniform and processing fees). 

After 1st June, no refunds will be given.

 

Payments

When registering this season you will have 2 options for payment, these being:

Option 1 - full payment by credit or debit card

Option 2 - direct debit. 25% up front, then the remaining 80% split over your choice of weeks (as long as it completes by 15th May 2019)

Please be aware if you exit without making a payment your registration will be canceled as there is no way of logging back in and retrospectively making payment.

 

Please note: the club would prefer that all registrations be paid online and does not want to accept cash payments. If you need to pay in cash, you will still need to register online in person with a committee member or at a Registration Day (dates & times to be advised).

 

But wait there’s more….

This process is for players to register with Chelsea FC only. Once you complete your registration with the club, you will need to register with Football Victoria(FV). This year, the FFA & FV are implementing a new registration system. This will not be live until some time in mid-late January 2019. So we will follow up with you once it is live to assist you with this process. This is MANDATORY for every player at the club (except Master's Men).
